Sale by Power of Attorney

I brought a 2 acres plot by power of attorney in April 2014 and sold it in June 2014. The original owner again sold out the property to some other person in 2015. Please advise if the power of attorney sale is of value or real owner sale is of value. Will Power of attorney sale is bind the owner?

Expert Advice

The sale by the original owner in 2015 is valid. Even if you had the power of attorney, the title to the property resided in the original owner and had all right to sell the property. If you have paid any consideration to the original owner you can file suit for recovery in the civil court.
